I am a Mechanical Engineering Master’s student at Stanford University focusing on manufacturing and product realization. I received my Bachelor’s from Stanford in Sustainable Design Engineering, a self-designed major that I created to combine my interests in product design and sustainability. I currently work as a Course Assistant for the Product Realization Lab, Stanford’s manufacturing shop, where I teach hundreds of students the various fabrication processes available, as well as provide individual coaching for students’ personalized projects, guiding them from start to finish in their design process.
I love to build and create, and I want to use this passion to create meaningful change for our planet and all of its inhabitants. In addition to utilizing human-centered design, I aim to keep sustainability and social justice at the forefront of my design process. I hope to develop a career in designing products that lower a user’s impact on the environment while improving human well-being.
Aside from my passion for sustainable design, I am endlessly excited about creating community and human connection. I spent my summers at Stanford working at Stanford Sierra Camp, where I learned the true meaning of community and how to work hard to create meaningful experiences for others.
I could talk all day about my dolphin obsession, dance, growing up in Bermuda, or how I learned to make 200 fried eggs in 2 hours. If any of the above interests make you tick, I’d love to chat! Contact me.
